They look pretty good on the Odyssey! Not sure what trim/option pack they were a part of. I thought the only other kind of rims were the steelies on the LX and the 5 spokes on the Touring.

These are from the Touring.

Yeah. A quick trip to the forums reveals that they came run flats.
You don’t see these rims that often for sure!

...Honda Odyssey forums?

Yeah. They do exist actually.

They are the same as the ones from 05-07, but they have PAX tires which are ridiculously expensive to replace. Most people swap them out for ex wheels.

As a kid I hated them but more and more I’m wishing my parents had sprung for a Touring instead of an EX-L back in ‘05...even worse is when they say that they could have had the Touring for only $2K more than the EX-L because the dealership was trying to move stock...

We are nearly twinning with the Odyssey!
My family has an 08 EX-L. Being 8 years old in 2008 I thought that we should have gotten the touring, because DVD rear seat entertainment. Looking back, I’m pretty okay with the fact that we didn’t. The Nav would be so outdated and painful to use, the DVD screen wouldn’t be the best resolution. Plus I have an iPad + iPhone to keep me entertained on long car rides.
Ours is “Nimbus Grey” over a light grey interior. How about yours?

Your knowledge of these obscure things amazes me!
By EX wheels, do you mean rims too or just the rubber?

Thanks. Haha. Ex rims because they are cheaper than non pax touring wheels.

Those are from the touring! Run flat tires were garbage though. Wouldn’t mind throwing a set on my moms ‘05 EX-L.

Some of Honda’s factory rims on other cars look good considering they’re stock. I just wish I had a 5 lug car that would work with some.

yes! i’ve heard this too. i’ve actually heard claims that it is cheaper to buy new ex wheels & tires then to replace tires (or within one or two sets it will be).

That’s true! We have a 2005 Odyssey EX-L, purchased new in Dec 2004 when was 5. So both of us are the same age as our vans! I was pretty annoyed we didn’t get a Touring at the time too, but our only other transportation was our old 740s which were showing a little wear. On long trips we actually have to make do with radio + conversation because our parents don’t really believe in personal electronics...I believe ours is “Slate Green Metallic” over an Ivory interior...

Haha, neat!
Honestly, during car rides I am looking at all the other cars on the road. I feel like if I look at a screen the whole time I might be missing out on seeing something cool! It doesn’t help that I can get carsick from reading in the car as well.
How does the Ivory interior hold up? I kind of wish we went with the dark interior. It hides dirt so much better.

The ivory is ok, not clean but neither is it completely darkened yet...and on car rides I used to do that but nowadays sleep is more likely...

We cleaned ours this spring. It’s amazing to see how light the leather really was. For me it depends on the time of travel. I could never sleep during a mid day car ride, but early in the morning or late at night I can.

I think those are the touring PAX system wheels. That means ludicrously expensive tires and only certain Michelin dealers can service them.
